Our Mountain takes place in an isolated region of ancient Japan. One day Kumiko, a woman living alone on the mountaintop, has an unsettling encounter with two Yokai. Unable to cross the flooding river due to melting snow and ice, they must stay with her until the river recedes.

As they live together their true reason for descending the mountain becomes apparent, thrusting Kumiko into a difficult situation-one that could paint the valley in blood. Will she choose her gut feeling, or will she be swayed by the Yokai’s words?

First visual novel!! I made this mostly to see if I could and WOW - is it ever shorter than I thought it would be! There are 8 endings though so if anybody is like me and feels the need to find every ending...hopefully it keeps you occupied. I think I've worked out all the bugs but I may just be deluding myself, haha.
Constructive criticism is very welcome - particularly when it comes to music. I tried some but I have horrible musical taste and eventually gave up. To anybody out there more experienced than I who feels like dispensing advice - would it have been better with music? If so, what kind? Teach me, please!
Finally, because this was mostly a learn-to-do-it project, I used absolutely no original art.

The story follows a young woman who just returned from years of boarding school abroad to attend a ball. However it seems her past (including the parts she is oblivious to) has followed her once again. After accidentally bumping into a stranger she faints, awaking in a strange mansion.

Eight beautiful strangers tower above her. They mention a Foretelling, the life-changing meeting of a human, the Chosen, and a vampire. But it seems they grabbed the wrong human as she has never heard of the prophecy let alone vampires before. To avoid death she must continue with the Foretelling, choosing a soulmate who is directly linked to her.

Note: The game is rated Teen-16 for blood and implications of a (potentially) graphic nature. Despite the dark fantasy theme of the game, there is no explicit content.

I more or less started to make it in order to pass the time - and also until cloudnovel gets a 'merge scenes' feature and supports gifs somewhere because my other VN really needs it right now lol.

After finding a mysterious treasure map, Moon, Tychon and Garynnon start a dangerous journey to decipher the hidden messages and to encounter the possible most valuable treasure in Rivulet Blossom.

I am so excited to publish my newest visual novel, entomophantasm! I have really big plans for it (like every other novel orz) and I hope it's as thrilling as you all hoped for!

In the future, I plan on implementing more horror aspects and puzzles, but for now you can have this short little demo.

I didn't post it in time for the Halloween Jam, but I hope you all enjoy it nevertheless. I put in a lot of time and artwork into it and I hope I can make it into something great.
