- 12/08 10:26 pm Weekly Newsletter December 8th, 2019 Hey guys it’s Sonya, Phew what a week it has been, me and Empress @DAX have been working on the documentation. It's almost done, I will send another update to let you know when it's up and live. For now, all we have are some screenshots: We only have the basics written in our documentation is still being written by @DAX so please be patient everyone! - 12/08 10:25 pm Café Rouge Hello guys, I am PLEASED to announce that the Café Rouge Kickstarter has reached the $8000 stretch goal. This means that we are 400% funded, four times our initial goal of $2000. Here are all of the stretch goals reached so far: All the character romance routes are unlocked. If you notice, there is no Demian route. For those who played the original 2012 game, you know why. However, our next stretch goal for $10,000 is a side story where you can play as the POV(point of view) as Candice and be romanced by Demian. This side story IS the "Demian route." We have less than 16 days left, so let's aim for this $10,000 stretch goal till Christmas day!
- 12/02 03:45 pm Monthly Newsletter November 2019 Hello guys, it’s Sonya. The month of November flew by so fast, gosh, I can’t believe we are now in December. I’ll just quickly summarize what the CloudNovel staff did this entire month so read below for all the details. Early November: Sonya worked on the staff control panel which is something you guys can't see since it's only for staff members of CloudNovel. A big feature upgrade that may seem minor is the profile now loads dynamically, before it would load all of your collections and collaboration games all at once, but now your user profile pages load must faster because it loads little by little when you scroll down the page on your profile. Later November’s new features: 1. Buttons clicked state image, button hover sound effect, and clicked sound effect 2. The handle/knob of bars so they can become sliders 3. Custom states for screens so screens are just like scenes with pages (for screens we decided to call screen pages’ “states”) We also added the same new button functionalities to choice buttons and option button icons: I'm sure you've all read my previous announcement on our pause of the CloudNovel engine development. We understand that a work of art is never finished, but we reached a point where if we continue development, 50 bugs will appear just from one small change in the engine, and that we don't want to fix what is not broken. We feel like the CloudNovel engine is not broken, and does not need constant fixing at this point.

- 11/24 02:46 pm Weekly Newsletter November 24th, 2019 Hey guys it’s Sonya, We added the new button files to choice buttons and all the option icon buttons (mute, save, load, skip, etc). Take a look: This small addition did take a lot of time to make but I am so happy that it is complete. I'm sure you've all read my previous announcement on our pause of the CloudNovel engine development. We understand that a work of art is never finished, but we reached a point where if we continue development, 50 bugs will appear just from one small change in the engine, and that we don't want to fix what is not broken.
