Hello, I've just gone back and Played my VN "The Lock-In" that I downloaded some months ago. In less than 3 minutes of playing, I noticed some things that were wrong.

First off, When I put the text to Auto, it skips randomly and goes back into Auto then back to skipping.

Second, When I use the settings to go back to the main menu, The screen doesn't close like it's suppose to so you can't even access the main menu.

Lastly, while running auto mode, I tried to save but the saving screen came up semi-transparent without save-slots.

Is there anyway to fix and prevent these things? I checked the version of the game on here and it was fine so I'm wondering what happened in the download. I put the game out for people to download so I hope this doesn't happen for them too. I'll be sure to test my download before releasing them.

We looked into this, and it seems to be one time errors. Most likely other people who downloaded your game will not encounter these errors. 

If the first play through when you first downloaded the game was fine, then other people who also download the first time will have the same experience as you did the first time. 

We could not find any errors in the downloaded engine code on our end, so these are probably be one time bugs. 

Go to the following folder directory (for windows, and make sure you have the hidden items checked):
C: > Users> YourUsername >AppData >Local >nw-app >User Data >Default

If you see any files that start with autosave-_______.json, read-_______.json, AND save-_______.json, delete all those .json files and your game will be reset back to the beginning as when you first downloaded it.

If the bugs still happen even after you did this, let me know and I'll investigate more on why it's still giving these bugs.

@Sonya Thanks, I deleted the files and it works properly now. Is there anyway to stop this? It seems to happen every time I download a new version of the game.

Edit: The game seems to stop working in the middle. I can't continue after a certain scene and when I check the directory, the JSON files come back.

Hey there Syn, we are so so sorry this took so long. This is fixed, there was a bug in the offline engine causing this issue. Let us know if you find anything else and we will fix it. Again, sorry this happened and took way too long!!
