Sonic bolts into the area that Tails was gonna be killed in and confronts his old enemy: Dr. Robitnik and he charges up even more, nearly exploding everything around him, glaring at Robotnik, glowing bright blue.

Tails sees Knuckles, but can´t move cuz he´s too weak; Robotnik drained all of his energy and power.

He thrusts a hand outward, and a blinding bright blue bolt of electricity instantly flies out and explodes into the wall behind him, and he charges up so much that everything around him exept for Robotnik´s ship that he used when he fought Sonic explodes.
