Each time I go into my visual novel scene, the loading percentage always stays at 67% and it doesn't go further. I'm still able to go through each page of dialogue but I'm not allowed to edit anything. The music doesn't play either.

If the scene is not fully loaded, what you said all above is normal. You can still go through all the pages but you can't edit anything.
