Hello I have a gif im trying to use in the scene. The gifs animates fine in the library preview but when I put it into the scene, it becomes a static image. Maybe gifs can't animate here.

So if I want the image to animate like a gif should I convert it to a video format (mp4) and then upload to the library? I can test this out but was making sure. :)

CloudNovel doesnt support GIF format instead our engine uses spritesheet , so you will need to turn your gif into a spritesheep .

You can enable the use of spritesheets at your visual novel Settings . Search for " Add Ons " on the very bottom and check first box.
