It was the first day of school for the year, and the students headed to the building and their classes. Kiku was still asleep, but instead of at home, on a bench outside of the school. 

* max had to go for one more year of high school because he got held back a yaer and comes driving down the road and park’s on the side of the road* max: dammit ugh I can’t believe I have to come here for another yaer * he said scuraging in the back for a minute grabbing his jacket and when he exited the said door  some smoke comes poring out then he slams the door close  and a loud shutting sound happens not realizing he parks next to the same beanch kiku was sleeping at*

Kiku jumped slightly and woke up when she heard the door slam. "A-ah!" she looked over at Max, and realized she fell asleep. "Ah, do you know what time it is?"

Max: ah abot I don’t know like 7:55 * he said looking at kiku confused *

Kiku jumped and stood up. "Ah, I gotta get to class then!"

Max: want me to help ya find your class * he said a nice helpful tone *

Kiku smiled. "Ah, thanks! I'm new here, so yeah..." she giggled. 

Max: well I guess you got lucky I know this school like the back of my hand now come on let’s get you to your class * he said walking a short distance away and turns back to kiku*

"Thank you!" Kiku said and smiled. She followed him and took out a paper. "My first class is... with Ms. Hiraoka!" She was the Home Ec teacher. 

Max: ah ya no problem I get you there if my name ain’t Maximus the mighty * he chuckled*

Kiku laughed. "Nice name! I'm Kiku Kato."
