people with the virus are called Deadmen, and are put together to battle each other. theyre given a bird name, and when they battle, they have to either stop the other from being able to attack (like knocking them out) or killing them, and the prize for winning is 1 million Cast Points, while the punishment for losing is losing a limb/organ. Deadmen are kept secret from society, and only the workers in Sector G and rich/famous people get to watch the shows.
