Long ago, a war between titans and the Samui begun after the Samui were sick of the titans eating people. Within the war, five people were blessed with elements to stop the war. They were called the Five; Kaze the Anemo Archon, Kori the Cryo Archon, Raiton the Electro Archon, Chikyu the Geo/Dendro Archon, and Mizu the Hydro/Pryo Archon. They blessed the Samui with visions creating abilities called quirks. The first discovered quirk was a boy who move objects using the wind. However the quirks also create villains and the possible reawakening of the titans so they created schools to train future heroes. 

The five kages of the islands decided to create the hero school for Kujou on the central island, Shogun. They created a city and appointed a mayor for the city. The school, Miraland High.
