Hello, I'm not sure if this goes in this part of the forum but I'm looking for a background artist who is willing to collaborate with me on a VN I'm thinking of. I'm fine with drawing characters and making UI. However, I always result to using free background and it's hard to find some to my liking since I can't draw them myself. That being said, I want it to be known that it's not a paid job (I can't afford it, sorry). If anyone is willing, I'll give you credit (of course) and if you're interested, we can even work on the novel itself together since it's still very early in the works.
I'm looking for stage backgrounds, interior home scenes and city scenes. I hope I'm not being silly asking this.

hello, can you give some details about your project, when you're planning to finish it, how many backgrounds you'd need and what artstyle?

To give a short Synopsis, You would play as the newest recruit of the Idol group, Misfit✩Dream~ after acing the audition. There you meet the other members and form relationships with them and integrate into the new group. It's basically a yuri dating sims with Idols where you get to pick which route you'd like to do.

It's still in it's early stages but I plan to finish the prologue in the next two months. As for the individual routes, There will be four. I don't have a set time for them yet.

As of right now, I would need about 12 (is that a lot?). I would need a day and night city background, office background, dance practice room background, 2 stage settings with lots of lights and a few house settings like living room, kitchen, bathroom etc. 

The art style will be a typical anime moe style. Similar to most of my work. I'll provide some examples.

Do they have to be anime backgrounds/have an anime style?

Yes, that style would be preferred. However, I am open to other styles. I just feel the anime style would fit the style of the VN the best.
