Yes, if you couldn't tell by the name, it's inspired by SAO. Although the story itself takes place in another game.

Element Art Online is an RPG that started 18 years ago. Players came in looking for a fun time to escape reality... until it became one. Players are trapped until someone beats the final zone. If they die in the game, they die in real life. Players have grinded, teamed up, betrayed, and killed just to get out.

But now... all that has been forgotten. After realizing that one boss was basically impossible to beat, players gave up. The majority of players even believe that Element Art Online is the real world. They live out their lives as if they were always part of the game, and no one has ever thought of adventuring out, until one day, the safe house in the Beginner Zone starts to glitch...

Rules (Yes, it's a game. Of course it has rules.)

1) Elements are Lightning, Poison, Air, Fire, Earth, String, Nature, Water, Ice, Darkness, Light, Inferno, Neutral, and Crimson. You can have any weapon type you want, but powerful weapons will be reserved for later zones.

2) You can make your own abilities however you want to, but WE WILL ALL START WITH BASIC ABILITIES! No one start an RPG with insta-kill moves or snap teleportation, so don't even try it.

3) Besides element, weapon, and LVL requirements, all abilities are obtainable by everyone, so don't get mad if someone has the same ability as you. Different species with species specific abilities are allowed, but you mist keep LVL in mind, and specify that something is a species specific ability.

4) If you die in game, you have a 1 hour period where a player can revive you. Otherwise, your character's done.

5) Starting stats are necessary here. When you level up, you add your starting stat to your current stat for your upgrade amount. No, you will not have to post your stats every time you level up, but you do have to post when you level up.

6) No controlling other characters. (Ex: Trying to kill another character is fine, but it's up to the character's owner to determine if they die.) Fight scenes sort of complicate this rule, so if you have questions, go ahead and ask.

(Stats, for once, will actually be shorter, ironically.)

(Block is how much damage you can deflect if you block an attack. If my Block is 8, and yours is 10, then you'll deal 2 damage when I block, and 10 damage when I don't.)
