I wasn't so sure how to word this in the title haha

I want to make it so that if you talk to a character a second time they will say a different set of dialogue. Like -

[1st time talking]
"Hey there bud!"

[2nd time talking]
"You're back so soon?"

Does it have something to do with flags, or is it something else entirely?
