Hello, in my vn Idol complex, there's a point in the game where the player choose a route. It's suppose to look like this when they choose a character.

However, for three out of the four choice, the confirmation prompt comes up like this. The prompt is behind the choice screen.

I'm not sure why since it worked fine before and I know this isn't just me because one of the writers helping me pointed it out.

@SyntheOtaku go to Screen and drag the confirmation screen all the way above in the screen list.

@SyntheOtaku You have 4 confirmation screen and only Phyliss is above Route screen.

Thus only Phyliss confirmation screen works for me.

By screen list, I mean this panel. See, you only have [confirm p] above Route screen.

Also, having 4 confirmation screens, one for each character is inefficient. I would recommend you to only have one confirmation screen and add character route integer flags and then when you click on the character button, it will alter the flag to (eg: Phyliss = 1, Rin = 2, and etc) then open the confirmation screen, and if the player clicks no, alter the flag back to 0 which means, no character is chosen.

[quote][/quote]@DAX Thanks! I didn't notice the screen list. Also thanks for telling me a more sufficient way to doing it. I'll try that.

Update: I'm not able to edit the actions for the buttons.

@DAX How do I get the yes option to go to a specific route?

@SyntheOtaku you can add a condition to the next scene for the route.

@DAX I did that but I'm not sure what to do with the yes option. How do I set it to go the different scenes?

@SyntheOtaku just add a condition to the scene. It will go to the next scene that matches the condition automatically as long as you have added a branch to go to that scene.

@DAX I did this but it didn't work. When I click on yes, it doesn't do anything. I put conditions for the scenes. The same happens with no even though it worked before. Is this due to the it being a screen rather than a scene?

@SyntheOtaku I checked and you alter the character button flag with the increase by. You should use set [value] as and not increased by [value].

@DAX Ohhhh, okay, got it, thanks. How can I fix the no button not working?

@SyntheOtaku you forgot to close the screen when clicking no and I have just added it now.

And I realized the screen will not work in your case. Because when the screen is closed, it will not go to the next page. You should recreate the screen using a page if that is possible?
