(I'm bored, and this story line has been in the back of my mind for years.)

In the land of Lyth, there lived three races.
Elves: Master of magic and skilled warriors.
Ani: Half animal and half man, ones of nature.
And lastly, humans...though they had no magic in their blood, they were skilled in many different ways. The humans ruled the land; That was until the war broke out between the races. The Elves and Ani were tired of being ruled by humans, they wanted their freedom...humans were nearly whipped from Lyth during the war. The Elves rose to power, and the Ani retreated to the forest...even though the war was not yet over.

An Elven lord/lady has arrived home from the battle field, only to receive a gift. A red haired human-boy to be their servant. For a while, the elve thinks nothing of it...untill they soon realize that the human-boy is the last royal heir to the human throne. A legend is told of human royalty; their blood can awaken a stone army awaiting in the depths of the hidden palace of humans...an undying army, at your fingertips.

But I fear with a power like this...if it falls into the wrong hand...destruction will surely follow.

@fluffness
It pretty simple~ we can either do it in the fourm or private chat (private chat seems more practical). I'm looking for someone to play the elven lord/lady...other characters will be added along the way. You can also give a short description of the character as well and I will start.

Name:
Oz Nightingale
Age:
12
Look:
Fair skin spatter in freckles, small body type. Hair is a  very deep shade of red while his eyes are a bright shade of green.
Extra:
-Oz's mother was only a baby when the elves attacked her home, she is the one that passed the royal blood down to her son.
-Oz is a mute
-Oz lived in a small, make shift human village before it was raided by an small portion of the elven army. Both his parents perished.

ok, i think it's better to keep it in forum then. if we make it in private message, others can't join with new characters anymore

Name: Celid
Age:  unknown (looks in her late twenties)
Look: Long silver hair and pink eyes. She wears flowy clothes with a peony pattern, symbol of her household
Extra:
-Celid has been in war against the humans for long time, leading the army for freedom and glory of the elven race
-Specialized in plant magic. Her attack and control spells are expecially remarkable.
-Looks down on humans. She thinks that the way humans fight lack of elegance

Awesome~ I'll message you with the starter, I'll be off and on today due to work

Lyth was a beautiful place, its countryside were as fast as the ocean itself. Rolling hills with small flowers dotting the grass, deep forest filled with mystery and bests. However, the true marvel were palaces that belong to the elves. Castles and manors built from ivory and silver were scattered throughout the country side. Far from cities… and from the blood of war.
In a certain household of a very particular elven family, the halls were filled with the rushing of feet and air of excitement. The lord of the manor would be welcoming his daughter back from the battle field: a celebration was in order. Waiting the elven-warrior on the steps of the ivory manor were the servants. All lined up and waiting in a perfect position. At the top of the stairs stood the head maid; and old elven women with long silver hair that went down to her knees. Her name was Sasha and she ran the home with strict rules. But she had a soft spot for lords daughter.
Out of all the servants one stood out greatly. He was small, his hair a dark red, and his green eyes were down casted while he stood next to Sasha. He looked tired and sad, perhaps the reason why was that this boy was not a elve but a human.

Cheerful sound of bells announced the grand procession that came from afar. Under the rain of petals, a white tiger led the army back with steady steps. It has been long time since Celid last saw her home. Now that the situation at the frontline was stable, she was finally able to come back.
The elven lady dismounted from her tiger and climbed the steps, looking at her people with affectionated eyes. But soon she noticed the human boy beside Sasha. It was a human, she would never mistake it. He was one of those human she fought with for so many years.
Celid stood in front of the child and looked at him with unphantomable emotions. It was a young little human. He looked weak and hopeless. Why would something like this be here?

It was a joyous day for the servants to see their lady return. But none was more happy then Sasha, she smiled kindly at Celid as she walked down the steps of the manor, her cane tapping the marble steps; the human child followed closely.

"Celid!" Sasha said happily, taking the female-elve's hands into her thin and wrinkled one. "My! Look how much you have grown" the older one mused softly. The boy lifted his head a little, only to suddenly spot the tiger, he froze a little before quickly hiding behind Sasha.  The boy had never seen a tiger in the flesh before, but he knew what that beast could do. Sasha looked over at the human as soon as she noticed Celid's look on her face.

"Ah..yes. As soon as your father heard of your return he traveled to the city of Nana to find you a gift at the market" Sasha began, taking a step back and nudging the redhead to take a few steps forward. "He believed since you loved to collect rare things he would find your something truly special". The boy lifted his eyes little to look at Celid before the elder elve slapped him on the back of his head...lightly. The human boy clumsily bowed as Sasha finished "I suppose red hair is very rare for humans...you father said he is to serve you...I have been trying to train him but he is a stubborn little brat"

Celid lifted her eyes from the boy and glanced at Sasha before displaying a warm smile.
"Red hair is indeed very rare among humans. I'll thank father later."
She climbed to the top of the stairs and looked back at the tiger staring at the boy in a threatening way.
The reason why she loved to collect rare things was because they were special, they were valuable. But how was this kid useful? He was weak, he was a coward, and he lacked of elegance like every human. How was he worthy of being around her?
She held back her mocking grin and said "let's go inside".
She looked amiable under the bright sun. It was like the goddess of victory arrived to the beautiful manor, blessing it with dazzling hope. The servants gasped in awe and followed their lady inside. The tiger also let out a low roar before spreading a pair of wide wings and flying back to its cave.
The tiger roar startled the boy, he glanced over at it just as the white beast unfurled its wings and took off towards the sky. At that moment, the redhead felt suddenly jealous...he wished he had wings to fly away. Wings that could take him back home...but deep down the boy new there was no home going back too, nothing but piles of ash and bones. In fact, the young human seemed to be the only one not happy about the return of Lady Celid, after all, why should he? The boy was pulled from his thoughts by Sasha, who grabbed his wrist and pulled him into the manor: The redhead didn't protest all the much, but be did tug his arm a little.

"Your father should be waiting for you in his study, he says he has a few things to talk to you about" Sasha mused to Celid, pushing the boy so that he was next the the elven lady "go on now, he is waiting". The human child followed Celid, every once and a while he would glance up at her with his bright, green eyes.

Celid nodded and strode toward the inner side of the big manor.A servant knocked on the big wooden door and announced the lady to her father inside "My Lord, Lady Celid has come back""Come in" the imposing voice of a man replied from inside and the door opened, inviting the elves in.The study of the master of the manor was stunning. Shining decorations filled the big room. The elder elf stood like a king, surrounded magnificent light."My daughter, you're finally back. I see you're well". He approached the young elf and dearly hugged her, showing his deep affection."I've missed you, father" He looked at the little human standing at the door "I hope you liked my present.""Of course, father. His hair is very beautiful. However I wonder if humans don't live well in our elven lands. He looks so weakened and sad"Actually, Celid didn't pay any attention to the child since she entered the manor. She didn't look at him at all and she wasn't interested in him. She wanted to get rid of this eyesore but she could never refuse a present from her beloved father.
The boy seemed to resemble that of a lost puppy as he followed Celid down the hallway. Once they entered the elven-lord's study, his green eyes glared harshly at the elven-man. Now a day, humans would be joyous to work for such a pristine elven family...it was better than working in the mines or fields...and being killed amongst other unpleasant things. However, the boy grew up in a village that had been hidden from the war. That was until a raid came through, killing nearly anyone. As for the young human, he was dragged off to be sold. Anyone would be sad looking if they had been through what the boy went through. Though, there was another reason why he looked so pale and sick, but he did his best to hide it.Just then, and beautiful elven women came through the door, sharing similar traits with Celid. Her air was pulled back in a loose braids as she wore a golden flower reef on her head. Her clothing was very fine and despite the fact she was wearing heels, no sound was made when she walked.

"Do my eyes trick me...can you truly be my little flower?" The elve asked with a smile as she kissed her daughters head, "welcome home" she said softly. Then her soft expression turned hard when she looked down at the boy, her voice losing all of its gentleness "I must agree with you there, this human leaves a lot to be desired" she scoffed, strolling over to her husband. "Sure he can read and write...but what good is that, he is a mute" she added, waving her hand a little in a dismissive wway. The redhead shuffled his feet a little.

Celid raised an eyebrow at her mother's words and glanced indifferently at the human boy. His inability to speak didn't change her opinion about him but she was surprised. The war was harsh for humans. Many of them died and the conditions of the rest wasn't the best either. Many cities lacked of food or were raided. How did a child like him survive for so many years? Not only he was clearly unable to fight, he was even unable to speak! He was not a trained servant so it could be excluded that he used to serve some rich human family. So why was he spared until now? In such harsh environment nobody would care of him just because his hair color is rare. Was it because of luck or was it because he had something special in him?She decided not to pay too much attention to it. She smiled warmly at the beautiful elf "Mother, I don't mind it. More importantly, we should celebrate our reunion""Yes, you're right. We have prepared a big party to welcome you back" The elven Lord waved to the servants to lead Celid back to her room and get her dressed up for the celebration. Celid nodded and followed the servants with Sasha and the human child.
The boy listened to the lady of the manors words with a frown, before looking up at Celid for a moment till he had to quickly turn on his heels and followed Celid, not glancing back as they left the study. Sasha was waiting for the young elven lady in her room. Other servants were waiting as well, beautiful silken dresses in their hands. One was a sky blue with pearl's dotting it, the next one was a pastel green that got darker the further you went down, the sleeves were long and flowy, then the last one was a midnight black, short in the front  but had a very long train on the back. Sasha ordered a few servants to lead Celid behind a curtain so that should could be washed and pick out her dress.

"And you boy, stay put" she added. Pointing to the redhead who simply crossed his arms and sat down in a chai. "Did your father tell you the boy's name...or did I forget" the older elve asked, before shrugging "blast this memory...well, his name is Oz...strange name if you ask me," she finished. Once Celid was dressed, Sasha shooed the child away from the chair and gave him a brush. "I also heard that your father's old friend, General Alox will be coming tonight...the man hasn't seen the battle field in years...I'm sure we will have a million questions for you dear" Sasha chuckled. Oz ran the brush through the wet, silver hair...trying to go slow, the last thing he wanted was to make the elve mad.

Celid smiled and nodded. She didn't like General Alox very much, even if she didn't dare to let it show. He used to train her when her father was away, but he was a strict instructor. Celid was very young back then and she disliked everyone who was strict with her. However she couldn't use her control magic on him like she did with Sasha: he was too powerful.
Celid looked into the mirror, at the red-haired child clumsily brushing her hair and repeated his name in her mind "Oz...". She was still a bit curious about him, afterall.
She looked at Sasha and asked "Where did father find this kid?"
Sasha hums softly as she began to clean the room a bit, the other servants help with the rest of the dressing process. Makeup and the like. As for Oz, he didn't quite know what to do with this silver hair, but had an idea. He remembers watching his mother but her hair in a fishtail braid, then dotting it with flowers...perhaps he could do that as well. The elder elven-women glanced up at the question, tapping her chin for a moment before answering.

"In the city of Nana there is a market, there, a bear-ani named Brutes specialize in capturing and selling humans...if I recall correctly, Brutes told your father that the boy was found in a small village near the mountain Souin" then she shrugged before adding "he said by the looks of the village, humans have been living there for a long time...can you imagine that! And so close to the sacred mountain" Sasha huffed. Oz blinked, at the name of the mountain, and scowled as he tied the braid off with a ribbon. He then walked over, plucking a few flowers from a vase to place amongst the hair.
