Hello everyone, WerewolfSimp here.

Recently I came up with this fun little art challenge and I would love to share it with all you talented artists out there. Now I know that CloudNovel does already have a series of art challenges (link to the first post : Art Challenge 1 | CloudNovel Thread )  and I highly encourage you to check out all the amazing art over there, but I'd also like to share my idea if that's okay. Now I have to admit that I suck at drawing T-T and I consider myself more of a writer. But I love doing writing challenges and prompts so I'd like to share some for the artists. Okay enough of the rambling, here's the challenge:

You must draw any mythical/supernatural creatures from Asian mythology (e.g Japanese, Chinese, Korean etc.) Examples would be the kitsune from Japanese mythology and Kumiho from Korean mythology. Your characters can either be the actual animals or humans with characteristics of them (e.g A human with fox ears, many tails and fox-like features can show that they are kitsunes) I know that there are many cool creatures from other mythologies and even though I'm not Asian, I've always been fascinated with its culture and mythology. Get creative, but let's quickly clear up some rules:

Rule #1: No plagiarism or tracing of any sort. Claiming an artwork is yours when it's not is also not allowed

Rule #2: Characters are prohibited to be placed in sexual scenarios. I understand that people express their art in different ways, but let's just keep it PG-13. Revealing clothes are allowed as long as it isn't too adult (e.g shirt slightly showing breast or tight clothing)

Rule #3: Support of racism or sexism etc. expressed in theart is not allowed. Please don’t draw offensive caricatures of any group of
people. It’s just not cool…

Rule #4: And last but not least, don’t feel pressured to add in everylittle detail of these mythical creatures. Like for example, drawing these
creatures in a more modern setting with modern clothes. Be creative and draw
the character you want to draw (as long as they’re not offensive in any way)
Thank you to all who stopped to read this. You don’t evenreally have to post anything here. You can just do this in your own free time
whenever you feel bored or uninspired. Thanks for stopping by ^^

I drew the kuchisake onna, it's a Yokai I learned about on a Japanese urban legends website in middleschool (Around 2015) I just sketched it cause if I try to color and shade it it'd probably look bad... Well also I'm lazy...
Wow that's so impressive. Cool drawing!
She's so pretty!
