I unfortunately can’t program the game to constantly use the player’s choice of pronouns or customized names for the MC. I can make a same gender route and about the computer situation, let’s just say life is screwing me over.

Oof, the MC's name and pronouns get used that many times in the game? Well, I guess even with the already existing tutorials on how to program a customizable name and pronouns, it's still a little rough sometimes. 

On another note, any news about when you'll have access to a computer again? Worse comes to worse, we can just start on the script over on Google docs and you can use a phone to type. That alone should take at least a week to finish between the plotting, writing, and editing. Hopefully you'll have a computer by then so we can move onto programming and creating artwork, though I would recommend putting off any drawing (rough sketching included) until after the jam begins to be safe. I'm assuming we'll be using the same bgs and sprites for the Valentine's DLC as we do in the main game? 

Well in any case, do you have any documents/notes you already have set up for the project? I'll message you my email in a private chat so that you can add me to the doc without putting a link on this forum that lets anyone access and edit the docs. Or alternatively, just message me the link.

Oh yeah, @TiredBitch, I also made a separate doc as a flex space for any planning/note-taking that needs to be done (like outlining plot, brainstorming possible events, keeping count of affection points and various routes, etc). I have both the script and the notes doc under a folder in Google Drive that I shared with you, and I'll share it with Max as soon as they get back to me about their email address.

So, how are we gonna do this? Roleplay-style where we split the characters between us and act them out, or do we do individual scenes? Or will one of us do a battery of scenes in a row, while the other plays editor?

Also, have you heard back from Max yet? They kinda just. . . up and disappeared from the chat.

Alright, you should be the one to start us off since you're the project director and lead writer. Do you think we should have a rough outline of what happens in the scene to make sure it doesn't run too long and keep us on track? Also, who is getting which character(s), and what characters are there? My strong suits are bubbly/energetic/loud personalities and sarcastic ones with dry/dark humor, but I'm flexible (and stubborn) enough to write other personalities decently as well if need be. 

I think it is a good idea to a rough outline of the scene. Though we have to make to make the MC and three love interest/villainess.

Btw, do you want to set a rough schedule for working on the project? Because it seems like by the time I'm online, you're offline, which is a bit of an issue if you and I are stuck waiting a day for the other person to reply in the script every couple lines or so. I'm mostly available anytime from 5pm-3am EST. 

I am available whenever I am around though I am more on during day on weekdays. However weekends I am on and off during day and night.
