It is with great pleasure, that I, Princess Sonya, announce the prizes to all the entrants of our Summer game jam, the Fairytale Jam. This was our most exiting game jam yet to date, with the most beautiful games and art resources made, possibly ever!

Princess Bed & Mattress – by @DouDou

This is a beautiful set of gorgeous beds and mattresses that are inspired from the fairy tale “Princess and the Pea” where a girl is tested whether or not she is a real princess by sleeping on a stack of mattresses with a pea at the very bottom. Overall, the art is absolutely gorgeous and beautiful, and is a great resource for anyone in need of a high quality bed for their games or other projects. We will award you 1000 points!

Lotus on Lily Pad – @FairyMary

A beautiful lotus flower on a lilypad that is inspired from the original fairy tale “The Frog Prince” where a princess kisses a frog, who turns into a prince! Although this resource only has one image, it is very beautiful and has an Eastern feeling similar to ancient artwork from Asia! We will award you 250 points!

The Red Shoes – @ChristinaChan

Inspired from the fairytale, “The Red Shoes” this story tells the tale of a girl obsessed with a pair of pretty red heels, and due to her greed, something tragic happens to the girl to compensate for all her sins and wrongdoings! It is one of those children tales that is very cautious, because eventually she got what she deserves! There are a total of 3 pairs of shoes in this beautifully created resource, so we will award you 750 points!

Arabian Prince Maker – @Pablo12

This beautiful dress-up game (although not many variations) is a great way to create your own Arabian prince. Overall, we decided to award 2000 points!

Alice's Castle in the Cloud – @SeasonOfDreams

A very poetic visual novel linear/kinetic story about Alice and her adventures in a castle in the clouds. This short game was probably meant as an interpretation for users of CloudNovel and how the platform is a dream castle (yes, very poetic indeed) and how everyone’s dreams came true, by creating their games and bringing their projects to life. Overall, we will award you 3000 points!

Bluebeard and his Bride – @Jeison

This touching romance novel is inspired from the classic horror fairy tale “Bluebeard” which tells the story of a naive girl who marries a rich and mysterious nobleman. Although the original horror elements of this story are completely absent from this retelling, it is a beautiful and heartfelt story about a married couple who have finally found love together. So we will award you 3000 points!

Princess Kaguya – @celestialMaiden

This visual novel retells that classic Japanese folktale “Tale of the Bamboo Cutter” and is a great short visual novel for anyone to read if they never heard of this fairy tale. Overall, the artwork for the game is probably the most beautiful out of all the other entries, so we will award 4200 points!

Escape Braaphog – @fnafpizzeriaofficial

Wow, what a clever story! The art and story is so unique, we decided to feature this game in our judging because it is so iconic by a “first time” user and participant in our game jams! Overall, we will award 1 point!
