Can someone please lead me to where I can animate my sprites?
The best thing is to probably show how your sprites look like, based on that we can probably give you a few tips on which software to use.

Animating is hard though... but if it's a simple thing like closing and opening eyes that might be possible with a gif... but I don't really know what media is supported yet.
I remember that you are able to make it blink using the spritesheet, but I do not know how to do that.

Before you start reading! I will be refering to images below te sentence, thanks!

Ok! First of all, you're gonna want to be able to actually use a spritesheet, for that you go into the settings of your VN and roll all the way down, then you will click the Add Ons button.
Once you do that, the window seen below will appear, then you just have to check the first box (Highlighted below)
After that just save the settings.
Now, onto the actual sprite, you want to make it into a gif first, there are many sites to do this, I tend to use https://ezgif.com/maker but sometimes you may have trouble with the png.
After you have your gif you will want to make it into a spritesheet, for that you can just go to https://www.piskelapp.com/p/agxzfnBpc2tlbC1hcHByEwsSBlBpc2tlbBiAgKD9lL-DCww/edit

This is what you should see! You don't have to sign up so don't worry! Then you'll want to click the folder on the right side.

After that, this tab should open.

You want to click "Browse Images" It will let you choose a file, this is where you pick your sprite. After you do that, this window will appear. (With the data corresponding to your sprite)

You want to click import. This warning will come up, it will not affect the animation, just accept. (It's in spanish here but you get the idea)

After that, the site will look more or less like this, you can see each frame at the left, and the animation at the top right.

After that, you're ready to save your spreite sheet! Just start by clicking the little picture on the bar at the right.

After you click that button, a tab will open. In resolution you can see the size of the animation (the size of the spritesheet will be quite bigger) Then you have the amount of columns and rows, you can edit that but I personally don't really find it nescesary, below that you have the Spritesheet layout options, that's where you download your spritesheet! Beside that you can see the size of the spritesheet, the number of frames (You're gonna want to remember this one), the columns, and the rows.

Now you should have your spritesheet! Yay! We're almost there!
Now you go back to your story and enter your library, there you will add your character as normal, enter the character, and add your sprite! Name it as you would any other, and put in the spritesheet! You save that, now you should see something like this.

You click the sprite that you just made, and a tab will appear with some new options.

You want to check the box that says "Sprite Sheet" Once you do that, just fill in the blanks! Width and Height refer to the sprite itself, not the spritesheet, the frames are the amount that piskel showed you beside the download button (Told you you should remember, but if not you can just look at your spritesheet and count them yourself! Then you have the frames per second, that just determines the speed of your animation, if you don't know which one you want I suggest picking something more or less neutral (Maybe 12, you can always change it later) then just save the changes, and there you have it! Your very own animated sprite, I hope this was helpful! And if you have any questions feel free to ask me!
