Hey, it’s your favorite newbie, Marcus.
I have an idea for a visual novel. I want it to be called Assassinations.
It’s going to be about a student with a name and gender of your choice. They have some weaponry skills, and like game development.
I don’t want to spoil too much, but the story starts with the main character living out their normal life. At the end, they decide to work on a villain for their open world game.
The very next day, a couple people were assassinated. The weird thing about the assassination was the person described sounded exactly like the MC’s villain.
I’m going to go for a teenish game. I’m not planning to have gory images, but many assassins use actual weapons, with may result in violent descriptions.
The characters I have so far are:
Maria
The happy-go-lucky childhood friend. She makes friends easily, but hasn’t grown any close relationships with many people. She has hand to hand combat skills, mainly suited around defense and counterattacking.
Alexia
A true master of manipulation. She has mind games for days, but hasn’t used half of them due to lack of popularity. Sometimes she brings a mini axe to school, and no one has any idea why.
Sarah
A sweet, innocent... combatant? She’ll do all her assignments and stay out of trouble for herself, but put anyone else in the line of fire, and she becomes a merciless bodyguard. She uses a sword and shield during serious fights.
Ryuji
That one quiet kid in class. You’ll never get anything out of him if he doesn’t deem it significant. Why he’s so closed off is another story. He obtained a double sided scythe from something he calls a clan.
Akane
The sister of Ryuji. She’s more open to conversation, and she seems to look up to him, to the point that she looks down on herself. She uses a light katana, which she claims she also got from a clan.
I have most of my story so far, so the actual VN’s first chapter should be out around Christmas, provided I get my resources down.

He’s your everyday flirt. Never hesitates to either hit on a girl or announce to the class who his crush is. He’s also trying to be a game developer, and he also seems to recognize the assassins... He uses dual guns when there’s a damsel in distress, or when an assassin ruins his hair.
