Sorry for the delay but the results for the Easter Jam is here. Before I start announcing the result, I would like to remind that as per the new rules, only completed entry will be given points. As for the rest, it will be given the moment you completed it.

Let's start this with Dress Up games entries as there are only two entries this time.

We think the title said it all for this dress up game. It is an unfinished product so there wasn't much for us to evaluate. However, the art was beautiful and it still had many varieties in colour and shapes for whatever piece we can choose so far. The interface was decent too although it was a bit a hassle to close the screen by ourselves every time while there is a way to solve it easily. All that said, we decided to give this dress up game 1000 points. It is just a shame that it was unfinished but we can see the potential in this dress up game. We really appreciate the meme button. It added up the fun in dressing up the avatar.



Although this dress up game has a little choice to dress the Queen Bunny with, the art is original and good. Most importantly, it has a good synergy between the assets. In fact, we didn't expect Astara to put a piece of music in this dress up that is very suitable for the whole theme. However, we wish we can see more Easter-ness in this dress up game so we will give this dress up game 1500 points.

That's all for dress up games. Now we will move on to visual novel entries.

Although It Rains Outside was missing the theme we gave for this jam, especially Easter theme, it had original art and well-written story. The atmosphere was really nice and there were some moments where we laughed. However, except the music for the main menu, other BGMs in this game could be really distracting. It was really a painful experience to read the story while listening to it so halfways, we just had to turn it off. Therefore, we would give this game 1500 points.

Spring Dream executed the easter theme from all valid entries the best. Sadly it was unfinished. It was truly unfortunate that music was missing after chapter one and the backgrounds didn’t blend well with the other assets. Individually, the art for GUI and characters looked amazing and we love it, probably because it was original. Seeing that there were some errors here and there in this game, it really obvious that this visual novel is really just a demo. Thus, we believed this game deserved 2000 points.

This visual novel wasn't just a simple visual novel as it used the engine very well. It had an egg-finding game as well as a dress up that allows you to create your own character before jumping into the game. All of the assets were original which was very impressive and praiseworthy considering the time limit we gave for the jam. Despite that, we weren't a fan of the BGM. It was quite loud and distracting. The most unfortunate thing, however, it had some themes required for the jam but it wasn't the core elements of the game. All of the themes were quickly brushed off and would not affect the story which was a shame. Therefore, we will reward this game 3000 points.

Honestly, we didn't expect a tutorial could be this interesting. We really appreciate the hard work put into a project that would help the community. The choice of art is done very well as the art style did not clash with each other. The dropdown options are also very much liked. As for the writing, we believe it was well-written and we really enjoyed having amusing conversations with the characters as the main character, Jenny. Unfortunately, this visual novel could score more if only it had Easter as the main theme. Despite that, we still liked it and would give this project 5000 points.
