Will you be my Valentine?

We are back with another Valentine Jam called Chocolate & Sweets Jam. 
Just like the name, the main theme of this jam revolves around chocolate, sweets or anything related to Valentine Day!




Terms and Condition:

• All entries must be approved to be valid.
• All entries must be new and original. No existing or fan games are allowed.
• Contestants are not allowed to create an entry before the contest starts. (Meaning, works outside of engine such as scriptwriting, drawing and etc is allowed. You are not allowed to create a project before the contest.)
• Visual novels entries must have AT LEAST 3,000 words with an exception to a game focused on gameplay such as Doodlepie.
• All Dress Up entries must use original art except for the background art.
• You may enter as an individual or a team.
• Entries submitted within the contest period cannot be updated AFTER the end of the contest. Please wait until the result is announced to update it or else, it will be considered invalid.
• Only valid entries are able to receive points.

@princesskittynyanya you are not allowed to create the project within CloudNovel. Any kind of progress made within the CloudNovel is forbidden. You, however are allowed to start working on the stuff outside CloudNovel such as gathering assets, drawing sprite and etc.

If you have accidentally create a project before the contest started, you are advised to delete the project from your dashboard and wait till the contest starts to create the project and save it into the dashboard. 

As a reminder, a new rule has been added to Chocolate & Sweets Jam compared to the previous jam. This time, you are allowed to enter a visual novel, a  dress up games or an asset resource as an entry. However, you are only allowed to choose either one at a time.

To join the jam, please click Create Team button on the contest page and fill in the form.


The jam will end by the end of this month and we will make sure to keep you updated.

An update for Chocolate & Sweets Jam.

There are now several entries. However, there is only ONE  entry that is considered valid.

Valid Entries:



If you have released an entry and it is not listed in the valid entries list, it means your entry has not met the criteria for the entry to be valid. 

If you are unsure your entry is valid or not, you can review the rules on the contest page.

For example, visual novel entries are considered valid only if it is approved AND it has over 3,000 words AND original. It cannot be a fangame. 

Please make sure you review your released/unreleased entry is valid to join the jam and earn points.

Also, I have promised valid visual novel entries will be added to the homepage for several weeks so the earlier you publish a valid entry, the longer it will be on the homepage. I am so sorry for those who participate with a non-visual novel entry. Currently, we are only able to add visual novel only to the homepage. Maybe in the future, we will be able to add more than just visual novels. 

All that said, we only have less than 14 days before the jam is ending! Come on, we can do this! I have seen several threads on the forum about your entries and I can say I have some expectations in this jam. Humu, humu! Let's do this.

Just make sure you do not forget to submit your entry by the end of the month! Have some sweet chocolate, everyone~

So far there are no valid entries for visual novels but we have new entries for in Assets category.

First, @SpringMetal4316 has submitted not just one but THREE soundtracks for the jam. All of them are listed on the same page. Please enjoy them.

Next, we have a new set of GUI from @foleso. It looks so tasty.

Can I submit my game if it is incomplete and finish it later? I ran into problems and I won't be able to finish.

@FurNFeather Yes but once the jam is finished, you cannot update it until the result is announced. We will only evaluate what you have done during the period of the contest. If you update while we are evaluating you will be eliminated.
