You are the most intelligent student in the school. Making a cube that can transform into any weapon is lightwork! As you get ready to unveil it to the crowd, it suddenly turns... and starts attacking everyone. Desperate to keep yourself from failing, you play it as an act and try to face it...
Which ends up killing you.
Before you realize what's happening, you're brought in front of an angel, who tells you that you were supposed to stay alive, to protect the city from another threat greater than your weapon. Therefore, you'll have to restart the day to fix the weapon before it goes crazy again.
But something goes wrong.
You start to realize that you didn't restart the day... but high school entirely! You're forced to go through the same cycle, same classes, same tests you ace... until you start to see the signs. Are you going to be able to go through high school one more time to stop this threat?

Ay, look who's back! School has been a pain in the chicken booty, but I'm here to show you the characters who'll be in Predictable High School! Credit goes to NoranekoGames for the sprites!
First up, we have the angel herself, Gabriella!
She's not your typical angel. (I know, so original) Her brother is Gabriel the Archangel, loved by all, with amazing control over his abilities. Gabriella has tried to learn under his guidance, but has struggled immensely, especially with how her emotions affect her powers.
She is the first character you meet, and the one who will accompany you in your adventures, handling all the supernatural aspects that is meant to be hidden before the public.

A sweet, gullible, extroverted, gullible, innocent, gullible, helpful, gulli- oh, I already said gullible? She'll believe just about anything, and other students use this to take advantage of her. She doesn't seem to notice this at all, and just honestly wants to make friends. Why would she go so far though?
She is technically the 2nd character you meet, showing up at the same time as another character.

She is quite popular with the student body as a whole, though the council doesn't respect her due to her relaxed nature. When push come to shove, and the council plotting against her, will she be able to stand up for herself?
She is the 4th character you meet. (though technically 3rd if you consider Sandra's interaction was with 2 important character?) She will be the one to update you on major school changes or events.

Despite the majority of the student body hating him, he may know something about the threat you're meant to stop...
He is arguably the 2nd character you meet. (He's the one seen with Sandra in the beginning) Anything about subtle rules, school layout details, and information about students, he's the one to know.

Let's take a little of a different direction with Ryuji.
Ryuji is your typical nice guy. Not exactly extroverted, but kind, helpful, and fairly smart. In fact, he seems so normal, he could be a side character... if it weren't for the rumors that all his belongings are bulletproof. Now, the school is all for safety, but what situations do you get into to make your notebook bulletproof?
Ryuji is the news guy. Anything that goes on outside of the school, big or small, he's the most likely to know. Hint, he also helps the next character out a lot, so if you want to get closer to her, or vice versa...

She's actually doing well... except for the fact that her legs, and even her wheelchair, tend to malfunction constantly. Are the doctor's statements true, that she doesn't have enough strength to control them? Or is there something else going on?..
Caryn is introduced around the same time as Ryuji. Her purpose isn't exactly direct, but will be revealed in the game itself.

Day 3 of getting back to this VN! Before I continue on with characters, I'll go over the theme and mechanics of the game itself.
If I had to put this game into a category, it'd be either a puzzle or mystery game. Your relationships, interactions with the school, and events you attend will all affect your capacity to find the threat that is mentioned in the beginning. Memorizing phrases and decoding passkeys are some of the common mechanics you'll be interacting with.
The game is also heavily action based. You won't be fighting a massive world dominating villain, (this is high school after all) but if you can make a weapon, who's to say someone else out there hasn't? The choices you make in these interactions will determine your battle skills, as even if you do find solid evidence to who is behind a certain event, staying alive is of the utmost importance.
...What's that? You didn't know you could die? Well, you can. No, there won't be any gore or descriptive suffering, but there is a Sanity mechanic. Each time you die, you lose a point of Sanity. What happens when you lose all Sanity?
There are also friendship/romantic mechanics. While they don't take precedence over the puzzle mechanics, they are arguably just as important. Friends (or even someone closer) will invite you to these sort of events, or at least make it known that they exist, making it easier to be in the places where the clues are.
The closer you are to a character, the more open they'll be to telling you what you want to know, and even about themselves. You can even help two other characters to get along with each other. Will you use these relationships to make connections or use them just for information? That's for you to decide.
Besides the fact that you can choose you name and gender, that's all for now.
