Chapter one: Eve

I wake up like usual and get dressed, knowing this will be the last time in days I will be able to see the warn faces of my parents.

I'm Eve anderson, and I have a strange life. I was adopted at age 4 when they found me sleeping in the street. Even then I had no memories what led up to that. I also have Aerokinesis, the ability to control air. I have always wondered where I was born and today is the day I answer that question. I get up and have breakfast. My older brother Jason was going to come with me.
"Hey sis!" Jason shouts with a smile."hello bro." I responded. "Ready to find where I was born?". "Heck yeah!" He said eagerly. We went outside where a carpet of autumn leaves lay in front of us. We step on it me going in front. I put my hand forward, and off we go!

Jason giggled as the warn autumn breeze blew past his face. My arm was getting tired and we needed a place to rest. I decided to find a place we could stay for the night. I was flying above a forest when I couldn't do it any longer. "Get ready for a drop" I say before lowering my arm. We fall down and all I could do was make a barrier out of leaves to break the fall. We landed and it was like we were aliens who crashed our spaceship. I looked at jason who was looking forward with a look of sheer terror on his face. I look in his direction to see that we were surrounded by... Skeletons!?!
