Why is my character sprite overlapped by my background?

I have no idea how this happened. Is there a certain command I pressed that would make this happen?
It was fine at first but then it just happened.

@BillyBobChiliDog There is an order of appearence on the editor, maybe you dragged your sprite behind the background by accident. If that's not the case could you elaborate more on what you was doing when this happened ?
