Managing Pieces in the Build section

Once you've finished adding all your pieces into the library, let's move on and learn how to manage your model in the Build section before we start building the dress-up game.

To start, make sure you're in the Build section. If you aren't you may click on 'Build' on the top navigation bar to go to the Build section.

If the page is properly loaded, you should see your model on the stage. However, you may have realized that there might be several problems with your model. For this, we have prepared a Q&A style of documentation to help you with your problem. We will also provide a navigation table to help you navigate to your problem faster.

Q: My model's size is too big or too small. How do I fix this?

A: There are two methods you can try to fix the problem.

❏ Change the stage size in the settings.

All you have to do is go to Settings by clicking this tab on the top navigation bar.

Then change the stage's size in this section to your desired resolution.

❏ Scale up or down your model

If you're satisfied with the stage's size, you can instead try to scale up or down the model's size.

On top of the stage, you'll find an input box that says 'Size'.
Enter a number bigger than 1 to scale up (1.2, 1.5, 2, etc) or less than 1 (0.5, 0.3, etc) as an input to scale down your model.

Q: Why is my cloth piece placed at the back of the head? Help, the pieces aren't properly arranged?!

A: Please take a look at the 'Pieces' panel on the right-side of your Workspace.

You'll find a bunch of pieces here. To fix your problem, all you have to do is click and hold this button and drag the pieces vertically to where your pieces should be placed.

Dragging and dropping to arrange the piece

Q: Some of my pieces aren't aligned properly, how can I fix this?

A: Identity which pieces aren't aligning properly and scroll to find them in the Pieces panel.

Underneath their image, you should see input boxes that said 'X' and 'Y'. These are the individual pieces' position input.
X indicates X-axis while Y stands for Y-axis. Enter a value inside these boxes to move your individual pieces.

Q: How do I move my model to a certain position?

A: This is very easy to do! On top of the stage, you'll find two input boxes that say 'X' and 'Y'. These two input boxes control the position of the whole model.

All you have to do is enter a coordinate on X-axis and Y-axis to move them. Please be mindful of your stage's size when moving your model.

We think this should be enough to kickstart your model's arrangement before actually building it! So, let's see you again in the next post where we finally start building the game with the use of buttons!
