Posted a new reply in Writing Challenge : New Year ! in the Writing Challenges forum: Luz Noceda is a character in the popular tv show, The Owl House, and is someone who I relate to very much. She’s a girl with a wild imagination, is seen as a weirdo by others, and excels in areas that she’s passionate about.
Previously in the show, she had to deal with losing her adoptive mother, Eda, and brother, King, when escaping with her friends from a powerful child god named the Collector. They were then trapped in the human realm with her biological mom and friends. In the latest episode, they all returned to the demon realm, where most of the show takes place, to find and save Eda and King from the Collector.
I think the rest of Luz’s year, and the show, will go with Luz and her friends finding a way to convince the Collector to let everyone go and to be good. They likely won’t hurt or lock him away because, well, he’s a child who mostly doesn't know any better. I think Luz’s mom, Camila, will end up adopting the Collector and he will be good. The characters will then beat up the main villain, Beilos, for causing all the good guys pain and trauma. Luz will then presumably make the decision to stay in the demon realm and she and Camila will visit each other or Camila will move to the demon realm.
After everything goes back to normal, Luz and her friends will most likely end up needing therapy to process everything that they had to deal with in a healthy way. Luz and her girlfriend, Amity, will probably also end up saying that they love each other by the end of the show.
And that's how I think Luz Nocedas year will go. It will be full of fighting, friends and family, and with healing, but in the end Luz will come out on top and have a successful year.
