Embedded Flag values

Postby Sonya » Tue Jul 21, 2015 9:19 am

Hey guys, so konett gave a suggestion the other day about adding flag values in text, so everyone can put your flag numbers/values directly into your writing. So we added this new feature, check it out guys:

All you have to do is insert this HTML tag in your text:

<span data-flag="whatever_flag_id"></span>

So the flag ID in the screenshots is VxL, so I made my HTML tag like this: <span data-flag="VxL"></span>

And basically that's it! Everyone thank Konett for this new feature (and actually the buttons too, she was the person who suggested the buttons in the first place so we wouldn't have either of these two features without her feedback)

When I followed the input player name thingy. It puts my name in but in the message part not the speaker one. So it's like this.

Uhm, how about when we change scenes? The name thing won't work.
We don't have to talk, we don't have to dance. We don't have to smile we don't have to make friends, it's so nice to meet you lets never meet again. We don't have to talk, we don't have to dance. We don't have to dance.

Did you test it out in the individual scene editor or did you test it out in the preview of your project?

I didn't do it n preview I did it on an individual scene. :< It's okay though I can just use the name Viktor.

Okay well it works in the individual scene, but it will reset to the default name when you edit a scene. If you want to test out the name, you have to test it in preview to play the whole visual novel. Flag values other than the default values do not carry over into the next scene for testing, we don't keep track of it, only the real preview or published novel will be able to save the name.
