A·phe·li·on : /əˈfēlēən/ : the point farthest from the sun in the path of an orbiting celestial body (such as a planet). (merriam-webster.com)
Earth's Aphelion is in July.
----
Haru lives with her aunt Rina in a Shinto(-like) shrine in the US, training under her while going to college. Also living in the shrine are two students cursed to be forgotten by their families. Haru's aunt discovers a way she can reverse their curse under one condition: (as she says it) "ignite the hidden flames of passion within Haru" (suggested interpretation) "help her remember how to love."
---
You will be playing as the god(dess) of the shrine. Haru will occasionally ask you for advice, and you can visit the dreams of other characters at night. If they wake up before you leave, you will end up traveling the day with them or until they go to sleep again. You can occasionally dictate their actions as well (through your godly powers) and meddle with their lives, since Rina is gone anyway.

A/N: I really wish I could have done something more for this, but I'm a freshman taking 3 AP tests so it just wasn't possible... I plan on continuing this over the summer (creating my own backgrounds, and redrawing oddly proportioned characters).
I wasn't really able to develop on the premise because my intended storyline was too long. I had originally planned for the story to begin at New Years and end sometime between May and July, beginning with the festival and various endings with each character. I decided to move it a month over to a festival marking the start of spring. Also, in the final product, dreams will probably have a significant role in telling the story, but I was not able to write to that point in 6 hours, much less create the art for it.
